Indeed
We were approached to put together a series of motion graphic templates that could be used by Indeed for social sharing of key facts to their clientele.
Indeed already had a very distinct visual style guide and were looking to create a series of motion graphics videos that they could use for converting their blog posts into short shareable video content.
We created multiple template options so that they could have variations in the content they were sharing. The templates were filled with content that was curated from their own blog posts and then shared to their social channels and embedded at the top of blog posts.
Process Notes
We began by creating a series of storyboards that we presented to the client. The storyboards represented each of the different visual styles that we would be creating for the Brand.
Through an iterative process, we finalized the storyboards into a look that matched the company style and met their already set branding style guide.
We then were provided on a monthly basis a series of “orders” for the new modifications. Blog posts were stripped down to key points and the text was provided to our team. We would make adjustment suggestions in order to be more clear and fit within the video constraints.
We would deliver updated videos based on the content being shared and the client then used them in their campaign.
The key to this process was to make sure that the visual style matched the companies brand. We spent a lot of time reading through their already-in-use style guide and viewing various examples of how they fit into the brand voice.
Upon receipt of the approved iconography and assets delivered to us by the client, we ingested them into our system in order to have easy access for fast changes that might arise.
The custom designs were highly templatized so that consistency was always met and speed was paramount.
The work we did the blog conversion templates then expanded into content to share during the Indeed Interactive conference. They wanted key data points to share on socials first to anchor themselves as thought leaders in the space.
We created a series of animated gifs that they could share during the event for positioning.
