They wanted to provide opportunities for brands to run targeted ads on their platforms with a support system in place. Their advertising placement features with Facebook, Instagram Stories, and Reels has been a proven asset for businesses.

The Mission

Meta wanted to help companies using their platform make the most of Reels for their advertising. They created a workshop that broke down the process of how Reels work and best practices, but the clients needed something more. Working with Genero, they hosted a Reels Workshop where the client could create a Reels ad in two 90 min workshops.
The challenge was to take the premium content that many of the brands were working from and piece them together in a way that better fit Meta’s best practices with a user generated content (UGC) feel.

Services Rendered

Using the provided assets from the brands, we developed concepts that could be used for a Reels ad. The chosen concepts were then developed into three variations for the brands to test while running their Reels ad campaigns.

The Process

Before the workshops, the client would be briefed by Meta on best practices. With a streamlined approach, we would then gather all assets from the brands and develop two different approaches for the brand to review. In an initial kick-off workshop, the concepts would be pitched, one would be chosen as a starting point, and adjustments would then be made.

A second workshop would then be scheduled a few hours later in the day where a rough edit of the concept would be presented. We would then work with the client to fine-tune the edit to something that was more finalized. After the 90-minute session, we would then list our action items and deliver the final version to the client.

The Outcome

In a short two-month span we were able to help 7 different companies workshop ideas for new ads, make the adjustments, and present a ready-to-launch Reels ad to promote their business on social media. These workshops helped each brand to rocket through the creative brainstorming process, try something new, and see results almost instantly.
